Information For Authors

Taylorian Insights: Journal of Management Review (Taylorian) invites academics and practitioners to submit high-quality, original research manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of management theory and practice. We seek rigorous, impactful work that offers new insights for the scientific community, industry, and policymakers, with a special focus on sustainable development in remote and border regions.

1. General Guidelines & Scope

Before submitting, please ensure your manuscript aligns with our Aims and Scope. We accept research across a broad spectrum of management disciplines and welcome diverse methodological approaches, including quantitative, qualitative, case studies, and meta-analyses.

2. Manuscript Preparation

To ensure an efficient review process, all authors are required to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
  • Journal Template: Authors must use and strictly adhere to the official "Taylorian Manuscript Template".
  • Citation Style: All references must follow the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition format.
  • Abstract: The abstract must be a single paragraph between 150 and 250 words.
  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in United States English.

3. Online Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted through our Open Journal System (OJS).

  1. Access the Taylorian website and follow the "Make a Submission" link.
  2. Complete all required metadata, including the title, abstract, keywords, and a full list of authors with their affiliations and ORCID iDs.
  3. Upload your manuscript file (which must be anonymized for double-blind review).
  4. Upload the completed and signed "Manuscript Originality Declaration" for all authors.
  5. Confirm your agreement to the Journal's Publication Ethics and Copyright Policy.

4. Publication Ethics

Taylorian is deeply committed to academic integrity. Authors must adhere to the following ethical principles:

  • Originality & Plagiarism: The submitted work must be original, not previously published, and free from any form of plagiarism. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% will be desk rejected.
  • Redundant Publication: The manuscript must not be under consideration by another journal concurrently.
  • Use of AI: The use of generative AI-assisted tools in manuscript preparation must be transparently disclosed in the "Manuscript Originality Declaration". Authors bear full responsibility for all content.
  • Conflicts of Interest: All authors must disclose any potential financial or non-financial conflicts of interest.

5. Peer Review Process

We employ a transparent and rigorous review process to maintain the quality of our publications.

  • Initial Editorial Assessment (Desk Review): The editors will perform an initial check for scope alignment, format compliance, and plagiarism. This is expected to take 3-7 working days.
  • Double-Blind Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment will be sent to 2-3 expert reviewers. This process is double-blind, concealing the identities of both authors and reviewers. The average time for this stage is 2-4 weeks.
  • Editorial Decision: The final decision (Accept, Revisions, or Decline) is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the recommendations from reviewers and the Section Editor.

6. Post-Acceptance

  • Article Processing Charge (APC): Upon acceptance, authors are required to pay an APC of IDR 200,000 (approx. $12 USD). A waiver policy is available for articles of exceptional quality and contribution.
  • Production Process: The manuscript will undergo copyediting, layout, and proofreading. Authors will receive a galley proof for final checking before publication.
  • Copyright & Licensing: Authors retain full copyright of their work. The journal is granted a license to publish under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

We look forward to receiving your valuable contributions to Taylorian Insights: Journal of Management Review.
