The Aristotelian Praxis: Journal of Integrated Community Development (Aristotelian) is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary scientific journal focused on the publication of high-impact research and best practices in community engagement and development. Open Access Policy

This is a fully open access journal, meaning all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without prior permission from the publisher or the author, in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition.

Publication Ethics

Archiving & Indexing

To ensure the permanent availability and long-term preservation of its scholarly content, this journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) archival systems. Aristotelian is actively pursuing indexing in leading academic databases, including SCOPUS, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and Google Scholar, to maximize the global visibility and discoverability of our publications.

Journal History

The journal was founded through the initiative of PT Bygates ChainWorks Lab, an entity committed to bridging theory and practice in technological and social innovation. From its inception, Aristotelian has been dedicated to becoming a leading platform for integrated community development inspired by Aristotelian praxis.

Sponsorship & APC

To cover the costs of peer review management, copyediting, layout, online hosting, and long-term archiving, Aristotelian charges a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) of $12 USD (approx. IDR 200,000) upon acceptance of a manuscript.
